I was too starstricken to say anything, but rather I stared in awe. I know celebrities are just people too, but it’s hard to act that way in real life when a person, who you have seen in dozens of movies and videos, walks by you.
Anyways, I hope he has good luck with the sends out here in Vegas.

While I was at the Black Corridor, a butterfly landed on the rock. It sat there for a good five minutes before I put my hand next to it and it crawled up on top.
We named it Geoffrey. It was pretty rad.

She’s such a magnificent, strong, immovable, reliable, and fantastic piece of climbing technology, I believe a naming is in order.
I shall call her Olivia.
I was torn between a name that starts with “C”, and narrowed it down to Chloe or Charlotte, but after thinking about actually calling my camming device those names (“Hey, hand me Chloe” or “You gonna use Charlotte for this offwidth?”), neither of them fit well enough. Charlotte seemed too innocent and I wouldn’t trust a fall on a Charlotte. Chloe didn’t sound like a person who would rock climb at all, just from personally knowing Chloes (My apologies to any Chloe who may be a climber. Again, this is just personal connotations that is affecting my thought). But while talking to a coworker today about baby names, I stated how my first daughter would be named Olivia, or my first son Oliver. Then I thought about how much I hate kids and don’t want them, and it hit me that Olivia sounds perfect for my cam. Olivia sounds experienced and trustworthy and solid. Hell, she even looks more like an Olivia than a Chloe or Charlotte.
And after thinking about this all even more, I think I’m a crazy person for thinking about this so much.
